    Western Digital CEO: Irving Tan

    Irving Tan is the CEO of WD. Tan is widely recognized for his exceptional leadership skills and has decades of experience in sales and global operations, market transformation, and customer and government relations management. His unwavering commitment to a people-centric approach is evident in the high-performing teams he leads.

    Prior to his CEO role, he served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations at WD, overseeing all global operations functions, including manufacturing operations, sourcing and supply chain management, and IT.

    Graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) with a Master's degree in Computer Science. Currently, he is the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Team at Western Digital's Irvine office, responsible for AI software development projects and team management. His research interests include distributed cloud architecture, system software, AI infrastructure, and cloud-native storage, with a long-term commitment to driving technological innovation and architectural evolution in next-generation data infrastructure. He currently leads a cross-functional R&D team of over 50 people, responsible for the entire lifecycle management from technology planning and architecture design to global delivery, dedicated to driving business innovation through technology and building high-performance, highly reliable software systems.

    Chief Legal Officer and Secretary: Cynthia Tregillis

    Cynthia Tregillis is WD's Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. She oversees the company's global legal affairs, risk management, compliance, and government relations.

    In this role, Cynthia advises the company's senior management team and board members. She oversees teams supporting the company's global development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of storage products through its independent affiliates. She also leads teams responsible for protecting the company's key intellectual property, strengthening and maintaining the company's global brand, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the obligations of a publicly traded company. Since joining WD in 2012, she has held various positions, most recently Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.

He has extensive experience leading teams responsible for strategy, architecture, mergers and acquisitions, technology product delivery, and shared services.

    Vidya Gubbi is currently the Global Operations Director at WD, leading the company's global operations, including manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, quality, and sustainability, with over 35,000 employees worldwide. A leader with over 38 years of experience in the storage industry, he is recognized for driving operational excellence at scale, advancing technological innovation, and building high-performing global teams. Vidya is a board member of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian National Institute of Technology (NIIT).
